Well, we have had digital x-rays in the rooms when you come in that we have taken for annual check up x-rays and also our 3 year full set of x-rays. But now, we can take the full mouth and head scans digitally as well. Some of you may have experienced this x-ray in the past. It is mostly used to check for wisdom teeth and for anticipation of braces. Now with our new machine it takes different types of images that can check bone density for those interested in implants, we can take check up x-rays more simply, and we can still check for wisdom teeth and braces. This new machine uses as much radiation as watching a half hour TV show and the image instantly appears on our computers for fast diagnosis. It is also much more accurate to eliminate the need for retakes.
